Objective1?To investigate the current state of mental health,self-esteem,trust in people and their influencing factors in therapeutic AIDS children in Guangxi Province, and to explore the relationship among their mental health,self-esteem,and trust in people, and provide evidence for targeted psychological interventions.2?To explore the impact of individualized psychological intervention on AIDS children's mental health,self-esteem and trust in people. It can provide a basis for effectively improving the mental health of AIDS children.Method1?A convenience sampling method was used to select 262 HIV-infected children aged 10 to 17 as the case group, where from the Guan Ai Outpatient Clinic of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Center for Disease Control and Prevention.A group of 697 children from school were selected by cluster random sampling method, and 262 children aged 10 to 17 were selected as the control group according to the principles of gender and age matching.2?Questionnaire surveys were conducted on 554(the case group and the control group)children using self-made general demographic survey questionnaires,Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90),The self-Esteem Scale(SES),and Trust in People scale.3?A convenience method was adopted. In the case group,30 children were selected with positive psychological behavior symptoms as the intervention group for individualized psychological intervention.Psychological behavior symptoms,Symptom Checklist 90(SCL-90),The self-Esteem Scale(SES),Trust in People scale, and biological indicators(CD4,VL)were respectively investigated at the beginning and end of the intervention, and comparing the differences between the before and after intervention.4?The main methods and procedures for individualized psychological interventions:The total intervention time is 3 months of each child, approximately 6-12 times.According to the results of the previous investigations, each child in the intervention group was designed with appropriate intervention techniques, including the use of respect, enthusiasm, sincerity, attention, empathy, and technology to establish a good counseling relationship with AIDS children;Negative emotional management, supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and optimization of knowledge structures are used to help AIDS children improve their bad mood and behavior problems.Results1 AIDS children's psychological status survey1.1 Among the 262 cases of children,32.44%(85 cases)had psychological symptoms, including obsessive-compulsive(18.32%),interpersonal sensitivity(13.74%),hostility(13.36%),fear(11.07%),anxiety(10.69%),and depression(9.92%)of high incidence;Comparing with children in the control group, the difference between the two groups of SCL-90 scores and factors was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the children in the case group had more psychological problems than the control(t=5.028,4.626,3.780,2.241,2.716,4.900,4.735,3.742,3.266,4.486,3.950;P<0.05).1.2 The SCL-90 total score of the children in the case group had statistically significant differences in the levels of mental health among different ages, grades, whether or not they lived in the school, and people of monitor medication(t or F=8.796,6.059,2.565,3.329;P<0.05).1.3 The total self-esteem score of children in the case group was 23.80±3.18,which was lower than that of the control group children by 24.59±3.34.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(t=3.338,P<0.05),and the overall level was low. There were more children with low self-esteem in the case group(5.72%)than in the control group(0.38%)(X~2=21.818,P<0.001).There was a statistically significant difference in self-esteem among children of different ages and grades of AIDS(F=4.065,3.226;P<0.05),that is,the total self-esteem score of children aged 16-17 was less than 10-12years old(P<0.05);the total self-esteem of AIDS children in the high school group was lower than that of the other two groups(P<0.05).1.4 In the case group, the score of children trust in people(1.51±0.66)was lower than that of children in the control group(1.72±0.49).The difference between the two groups of the trust in people score was statistically significant(t=0.492,P<0.05),and the level of children in the case group was slightly lower. The time of antiretroviral treatment(ART)and national were different in the case group, and the condition of the trust in people was different(t or F=5.159,2.876;P<0.05).The Zhuang AIDS children had the highest scores in the trust in people, followed by Han and Yao scored the lowest, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the score of the group with more than 1 year of treatment(1.50+0.64)was lower than that of the group with less than 1 year of treatment(1.88+0.35).1.5 Pearson correlation analysis showed:in the case group, children's interpersonal sensitivity, depression and paranoia were negatively correlated with the total score of self-esteem(r=-0.145,-0.154,-0.126;P<0.05),and there was a negative correlation between SCL-90 total, compulsion, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, hostility, paranoia and psychosis with the total scores of trust others(r=-0.151,-0.164,-0.160,-0.179,-0.122,-0.132,-0.169;P<0.05 or P<0.01).1.6 Multiple linear regression analysis found that age and grade economics had a predictive effect on the mental health(SCL-90 total score)of children in the case group(regression coefficients were?=0.417,-0.287;P<0.05);after controlling the demographic variables, trust in people to the case group Children's mental health(SCL-90 total score)made new contributions and the explained variance increased by 2.6%(regression coefficients were?=-0.148,P<0.05).2 Individualized psychological intervention of AIDS children's psychological problems,Self-control before and after intervention.2.1 Individualized psychological interventions improved 83.33%of AIDS children's symptoms, and 26.67%of AIDS children had a total score reduction rate of?25%.After intervention,AIDS children scored lower scores in SCL-90 total score,obsessive-compulsive symptoms, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoia, psychosis, and other aspects(8/10)than before the intervention, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.2 There was no significant difference in self-esteem and trust in people between before and after intervention(P>0.05).2.3 In terms of biological indicators, the number of CD4 and viral load(VL)in AIDS children after the intervention was not statistically different from that before the intervention(P>0.05).ConclusionThe incidence of psychological symptoms among AIDS children is higher than that of non-AIDS children, especially in areas such as obsessive-compulsion,interpersonal sensitivity, hostility, anxiety, depression, and horror, and there are differences in age, grade, presence, and supervision of medication users;Children have low levels of self-respect and trust in others;there is a negative correlation between the level of mental health of AIDS children and the level of trust in others;factors that have predictive effects on mental health of AIDS children are age, grade, and trust in others.Individualized psychological intervention is of great significance and practical value to improve the mental health of AIDS children and reduce the symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder, interpersonal sensitivity, depression, anxiety, hostility, paranoid and psychoticism.
