In traditional paintings,composition plays a key role in the visual aesthetics of the picture,and the quality of the composition determines the artistic conception and level of the picture.The composition style of Chinese meticulous flowers-and-birds painting is changing all the time,and it has gradually developed its own laws and characteristics with the change of history.In the background of the development of the times,people's aesthetic pursuit is constantly changing,and the art of painting also produces a different style,but the pursuit of artistic conception and beauty is unchanged.The composition style of flower-and-bird painting broken in branch in Song dynasty is evolved in the historical development,although a tendency to "programming",but it still sends out a profound cultural deposit and artistic charm of the age.Based on the iconology research methods as the breakthrough point,starting with the historical background of painting broken in branch of Song dynasty,this thesis analyzes its aesthetic characteristics,the generation of artistic conception,the expression of connotation,modeling characteristic,and composition style,etc.This thesis also summarizes flowers-and-birds painting broken in branch by using methods of the form of geometric drawing,line combination,Take potential and tension in order to experience painting creation process of Song painters deeply and realize how the artists reflect in the study the phenomena of nature,view big things from the small ones and communicate with the universe spiritually.This thesis analyzes the composition of flower and bird painting broken in branches in Song dynasty,and deeply explores the traditional culture core behind the works,so as to provide a historical reference for modern flower and bird painting to be better inherited and develop.
