| Chinese bird-and-flower paintings has a long history,originating in the Tang Dynasty and maturing during the Five Dynasties,thus laying a foundation for the arrival of the prosperous period of flower-and-bird paintings in the Song Dynasty.The fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings in Song Dynasty involve concise composition and elegant style of painting and highlight the spirit of the painting,achieving an unprecedented golden stage of flower-and-bird painting creation in the history of Chinese paintings.It is an important part of traditional Chinese paintings,as well as the precious wealth for the future generations to learn the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings.While continuing the creative techniques and artistic aesthetics of the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings in Song Dynasty,modern fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings have expanded the pattern and style of flower-and-bird paintings.In the theory of Chinese painting art,the meaning reflects the author's thought and aesthetic taste while the state reflects the objective image depicted by the picture.The organic combination of the two is called artistic conception,which refers to the integration of the scene depicted in the works of art and our own emotions,characterized by the scenery in the emotions,the emotions in the scenery,leading to a fusion of the emotions and the scenery in perfect harmony.The works that can move people must be able to allow people to feel the meaning expressed in the essence of arts through the state depicted by the works themselves.To this day,the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings should present a new state involving varied forms and absorption of anything and everything in modern arts,and develop a new look of fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings based on the traditional culture.As the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings attach importance to the expression of individual spirit and artistic conception,this paper tries to analyze the influence of the beauty of artistic conception in the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings in Song Dynasty on the creation of modern flower-and-bird paintings,based on the appreciation and comparison of some examples of the two.Arts have been complete and uninterrupted in the development process since ancient times.The development of society brings about the change in environment,making artsbound to develop and reform.The development and reform of modern fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings should neither deviate from traditional Chinese arts and cultures,nor indiscriminately imitate the artistic language and artistic form of the West and Japan.In this regard,modern fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings should inherit the spirits and quality conveyed in the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings in Song Dynasty,and the painters should get rid of the impetuous practices in society,and better complete the transformation and reconstruction of fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings in modern society.In this paper,the first section is the introduction,illustrating the objectives and significance of the study,and the research status at home and abroad.The second section outlines the aesthetic connotation of artistic conception.The third section investigates the creation of the beauty in artistic conception in the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings in Song Dynasty and analyzes the paintings from the five aspects of the background,composition,poetic conception,the artistic conception of the unity of form and spirit and the decorative artistic conception.The fourth section focuses on the new presentations of the beauty in artistic conception of modern fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings and the development trend of such paintings in modern society.The last section is about the author's perception of the creation of fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings during the three-year graduate studies and the reference and innovation of the fine-brush flower-and-bird paintings in Song Dynasty in the author's works. |
