| The Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Northwest Normal University is the model and leader for the academy of fine arts in Gansu Province.Since the foundation of the People's Republic of China,the art department was established in the college of northwest China,which had made up for the education gap of fine arts and brought a new look to the art education in Gansu Province.The college entrance examination system was restored during the period of reform and opening up,which promoted the development of art departments to enter a new historical period.It also transported many professionals throughout the country and made outstanding contributions to the art education in China.The Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Northwest Normal University has formed many distinctive characteristics in its long-term development process.Thus,this thesis will make a study on the establishment and development of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of Northwest Normal University from the following perspectives: the establishment of the department of Fine Arts,the curriculum system,composition of teachers,academic activities,social status and influence of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design.It attempts to provide a unique guidance for the inheritance of excellent art education as well as the future development of the art education after the study on the establishment and development of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Northwest Normal University. |
