The Study On The Setting Of Master Of Teaching Chinese To Speakers Of Other Languages Curriculum In Sichuan Normal University

The MTCSOL is a new and developing specialty which emerging in line with the international trend of Chinese teaching. The goal of MTCSOL is focus on cultivate postgradusts has ability to engaged in Chinese teaching or related work. For MTCSOL as a new major, all training units are improving and exploring MTCSOL personnel training curriculum gradually.In this paper, the author combined the date of ‘ Sichuan Normal University 2012 MTCSOL Curriculum Questionnaire ’ puts forward some reasonable suggestions to Sichuan Normal University MTCSOL curriculuma: In ‘ Academic Degree General Course ’ module, could make ‘ Second language learning Course ’ replace of ‘ English Reading and Writing’ to enhance the professional capacity of postgraduates; The length of schooling educational system of MTCSOL in Sichuan Normal University should be adjusted to three years and establish a flexible system for their internship to ensure the the research process and internship completed smoothly; Increase the teaching proportion of cross-cultural communication course to broaden the horizon of posgraduates; Regulate the ‘ Traditional Chinese Talents Courses ’ and opening some cultural courses which full of Sichuan special characteristics to enrich the culture connotation of postgraduates; Otherwise, set up ‘ Overseas Chinese Teaching case’ and ‘ Classroom Teaching Observation and Practice ’ courses for cultivating our postgradustes has excellent teaching techniques.
