Since the reform and opening up,the construction industry,as a pillar industry of China's economy,has grown stronger.The development of the construction industry also promotes the growth of various types of construction companies.As a construction enterprise managers,it is bound to face a series of difficulties and pressures to survive.How to improve the job satisfaction and career success of the managers in construction enterprises,to reduce their job stress,and thus to improve their working efficiency,is a very practical research problem.Therefore,in order to understand the job stress,job satisfaction,career success,and psychological capital status of construction company managers,and to explore their related relationships,this paper uses Job Stress Scale,Job Satisfaction Scale,Professional Success Scale,and Psychological Capital Questionnaire.we conducted a questionnaire survey on 670 construction company managers.The results as follow :(1)In different dimensions of job stress of management managers of construction enterprises,there are significant differences in six variables including gender,working life,education,job title,position and marital status.(2)In different dimensions of job satisfaction of managers of construction enterprises,there are significant differences in five variables including age,working life,education,job title and marital status.(3)In different dimensions of career success and psychological capital of managers of construction enterprises,there are significant differences in six variables including age,gender,working life,job title,position and marital status.(4)There is significant negative correlation between the job stress and job satisfaction,career success,job stress can significantly predict job satisfaction and career success;there is significant positive correlation between the job satisfaction and career success,psychological capital,there is significant positive correlation between the career success and psychological capital,psychological capital can significantly predict job satisfaction and career success.(5)The psychological capital plays an intermediary role in job satisfaction and career success,and the mediating effect is 13.8%.
