Digital Restoration Research Of Guqin History Recording

Guqin is a typical representative of traditional Chinese instruments.and many players,scholars and various research institutions have also paid great attention to the research of Chinese Guin music.But as a popular wire recording or tape recording of the 20^th century,their practical stage has been dropped.Most of the precious ancient music sound by the famous Guqin performer have not been protected effectively.Even the few audio files that are left now that can not restore the really tone and playing skills of Guqin because of the age and the limitations of the recording technology at that time.Therefore,it is urgent to repair the historical acoustic record of Guqin.This paper is an audio technology study on the noise reduction,audio repair and restore of the historical acoustics of Guqin that mainly on open-reel tape as the carrier.The research object is the survived music files of Guqin what recording or transcripted whith the open-reel tape drive of playing and singing by famous Guqin players in the last century.The research content is the aesthetic characteristic of Guqin and the restoration method of historical recording of Guqin.This article includes Introduction,four chapters,conclusion and references.The introduction part states the source,research background,the basis of topic selection,research purpose,theoretical significance and practical value.There are include the purpose and significance of topic selection,and the status of research in the basis of selection.In addition,it also summarized research ideas and the key issues to overcome.The body part consists of four chapters.Chapter 1:Study the basic structure and acoustic principle of Guqin,And make a large number of recording of single tone,piece of music,playing skill of Guqin.Using Sonic Visualiser for objective spectral analysis,Therefore,we have the overall grasp and understanding about the aesthetic characteristics of Guqin.All of it provides the theoretical basis for the restoration of the historical recording of Guqin.Chapter 2:It introduces sampling principle of the acoustic examples of historical recording of Guqin.the problem with the examples and the basic concept of Guqin's acoustic for repair.The principle of use of various effectors is also discussed in the concept of restoration.Chapter 3:It is the main research content of the paper.The digital restoration practice of historical recording of Guqin is emphasized.It includes the introduction for repair equipment and the treatment of several kinds of repair cases such as noise repair,tone repair and sound field repair and the introduction to the effector parameters.Chapter 4:As much as possible,people with different professional backgrounds are invited to take a subjective assessment of the audio of guqin's recovery.This link is the examination of the sound quality and tone quality of the recovery audio.It is the only way to verify that if the restored audio conforms to most people's aesthetics,It is also an important way to evaluate the success of the repair practice.In addition,the author also summarized my own repair experience for the audio industry reference.Conclusion:the design idea of the project is reviewed,To extract the important results obtained from the research.At the same time,the limitations of this research are analyzed objectively.For some valuable questions,maked further forward looking tips,and it provide a direction for people interested in getting involved in this subject.
