Based on the existing data,this paper analyzes Lars Elling' s works and summarizes the artistic features of his works.From the point of view of modeling,this paper explores the composing mode of expressing the life effect of fantasy in the works,and thus generates new possibilities of representational painting and cross-boundary thinking of contemporary painting.This paper analyzes the duality of truth and fantasy in Lars Elling,s works through three parts.The first part through the analysis and study the artistic features of Lars Elling,related cultural background,development status and its art,reveals the regional culture of Lars Elling work style the effects.The second part from the work way of deeper into the details,color,space forms,materials,techniques,composition,and the theme of the mystery of this a few aspects to reveal formation way of duality lies the key to real and what is an illusion.The third part is the conclusion part of this paper,through the analysis of Lars Elling's works.Representational painting should pay attention to the relationship between cultural background and it.Advocate from the original thinking formulary of representational painting,explore the new figurative painting subject matter from the view of discovery,the new method,and realize the figurative painting has infinite possibilities.This paper hopes to stimulate new thinking on representational painting from the analysis of Lars Elling's works.Traditional representational painting can draw lessons from the theories of film and visual communication,as well as some effects and processing methods of image software.As a contemporary artist,we should have the idea of artistic crossover.Through targeted art practice,a research object is integrated with various forms of expression to create a new artistic experience.
