The fast buoyancy ascent escape training will cause psychological stress of divers, and it is very important to reduce the stress level of diver in the fast buoyancy ascent escape training through psychological training. How to observe and intervene the mental status of trainees in the fast buoyancy ascent escape training is a focus of attention and research by many researchers. Objective: The main purpose of this study is to help divers reduce the stress level in the fast buoyancy ascent escape training by exploring a set of psychological training methods. To alleviate the negative emotion in the course of the fast buoyancy ascent escape training,to improve the psychological stability of divers,so that divers can better and faster adapt to the fast buoyancy ascent escape training. Methods: First, based on past research, through semi-structured interviews with divers and field experts, developed mental image training programs and corresponding material. Then, the two-factor mixed design was used in the experiment,To monitor the physical and psychological reactions of imagery training group and traditional training group at the fast buoyancy ascent escape training at different depths. And the imagery training and the fast buoyancy ascent escape training at different depths were used as the independent variables, and the psychological and physiological indexes of each stage were taken as the dependent variables. The imagery training group was trained by the combination of imagery training and the fast buoyancy ascent escape training, and the traditional training group was trained according to the normal fast buoyancy ascent escape training process, and the conclusion was drawn whether the imagery training was helpful to reduce the stress level of trainees by comparing the changes of the trainees in different stages of training. The evaluation of psychological status in each stage adopts the combination of physiological index and psychological index, taking heart rate as the main measure index of evaluating trainees ' stress level, the subjective questionnaire is regarded as the secondary evaluation index, including state anxiety questionnaire,BFS mood scale and POMS mood scale.Conclusion:(1)The fast buoyancy ascent escape training can increase the heart rate of the trainees, cause the trainees to produce psychological stress and anxiety.During the fast buoyancy ascent escape training,The time periods that causes trainees to experience psychological stress are mainly concentrated in 1 minute before entering the cabin and the period from the water injection to the out of cabin after entering the cabin.(2)Imagery training can reduce the trainees ' heart rate during the fast buoyancy ascent escape, indicating that imagery training can effectively reduce the trainees ' stress level and relieve the trainees ' anxiety. Therefore,Imagery training,as a reasonable psychological training method, can be effectively applied to the fast buoyancy ascent escape training, and help divers to better adapt to the fast buoyancy ascent escape training.(3)Heart rate(HR)can be used as a reasonable and effective physiological evaluation index applied to the research of the fast buoyancy ascent escape training.State anxiety questionnaire,BFS mood scale,POMS mood scale have no effect on evaluating the stress level of the fast buoyancy ascent escape training.
