“Production” Interest-A Tentative Study On Contemporary Chinese Meticulous Flower-and-bird Painting

Chinese meticulous flower-and-bird painting began in the Tang Dynasty and flourished in the Song Dynasty.It has maintained its own unique artistic attitude in a meticulous style.With the renewal of traditional concepts and the blending of multiculturalism,the creative methods of meticulous painting are constantly changing.While inheriting the tradition,the artist began to enrich the expression by using new material tools and painting techniques to improve the visual tension of the works.The production technique has been widely applied in the contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting practice,and gradually become the expression way that the painters are good at using in the rising trend.This paper is divided into four chapters to explore the production and interesting expression of contemporary meticulous flower-and-bird painting.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly summarizes the background,current situation and value of the topic.The second chapter mainly elaborates the meaning of "production" and "interest" in the painting and the three major causes of its expression.The third and fourth chapters are the key parts of the thesis.The third chapter mainly selects representative works to analyze the use of various tool materials and rubbing,washing and dyeing,water impact powder method and other production methods,through the illustration of the works,it is more vivid to highlight the characteristics of various tools of production techniques.The fourth chapter discusses the application of productions in practice closely combined with its own works,and initiates the thinking on production at the end.Through the research on the production of meticulous flower-and-bird painting,it not only broadens the new vision of meticulous painting,but also provides a theoretical reference for the creation of meticulous flower-and-bird painting in the future.
