"Light And Shadow" In Contemporary Meticulous Flower And Bird Painting Expression And Application

The use of light and shadow in Chinese traditional paintings is weakened.The concept of"light and shadow" is one of the important expressions of the Western philosophy system derived from the rational and realistic philosophical system.The two-dimensional aesthetic pursued by traditional Chinese paintings with lines and ink methods In the artistic conception,"light and shadow" has always been weakened to avoid performance.Contemporary meticulous flower and bird paintings grew up in the context of the intersection of Chinese and Western cultures.The consciousness of aesthetic culture prompted some forward-thinking meticulous flowers and birds to begin to try to present the diversity of contemporary cultural contexts with techniques such as“light and shadow”.The author is also deeply influenced by these contemporary meticulous flower and bird painters.The series of "Light and Shadow"works is the author's attempt to create a tropical rainforest in Xishuangbanna,which was deeply shocked by its colorful colors and changes in light and shadow.The strong desire to create prompted me to once again walk into the mysterious tropical rain forest,thinking about how to combine the traditional painting style of traditional meticulous flowers and birds,and the "light and shadow" in the western realism painting language to present a rainy and artistic conception.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part mainly expounds the cognition and performance of "light and shadow" in the historical changes of Chinese painting,including explaining the lack and reason of the use of light and shadow expression techniques in traditional painting,and analyzing the modern improved meticulous flower and bird paintings.Western painting concepts such as "light and shadow”began to be introduced into the cultural context behind the creation and the introduction of“light and shadow”after modern improvement.The second part exemplifies the "light and shadow" effect presented in the works of contemporary meticulous flowers and birds,analyzes the technical characteristics of"light and shadow" in contemporary meticulous flower and bird paintings,highlights the use of "light and shadow" expression techniques,and expresses contemporary multiculturalism in contemporary meticulous flowers and birds.The positive value of the contribution of context richness and diversity.The third part mainly elaborates on the creative process of my work"Walking through the Four Seasons" from the aspects of subject choice,composition and coloring.
