Study And Practice On The Elegant Color Expression Of Contemporary Meticulous Flower-Bird Painting

With the changes of the times,people’s aesthetic needs,there are new requirements for the performance of contemporary fine-brushed flower-bird paintings.This change in both external factors and internal needs played an important role in the color performance of contemporary fine-brushed flower-bird paintings,especially in terms of color presentation.Therefore,contemporary meticulous flower-bird paintings no longer follow the traditional way to color according to type but to color at random with the change of the background of the times,which is embodied according to the creator’s subjective feelings,thoughts,emotions,and psychological cognition,and has a more diversified way of expression.To better understand the language characteristics of the elegant colors,and the unique charm of diverse expressiveness,representative examples of flower-bird paintings were also investigated.To improve the creative ability and the appeal of the works,the color theories between Chinese and Western paintings were combined.This study focused on the “elegant small sceneries” such as flowers,birds,fish,insects,fruits,and vegetables,to form the series of creations of “Between Micro Exploration”.New painting materials and techniques,the combination of traditional classic techniques and new ideas,individual colors,rich materials,and diverse techniques were used to create a simple,elegant,pure,and beautiful work.
