Multifaceted Mapping Of Shizhi's Poetry And Schizophrenia

In the 1960s and 1970s,Shizhi poetry raised independent consciousness and firm beliefs,and expressed the voice of the group with individual life experience,which had a wide influence among the educated youth groups.In 1973,Shizhi was diagnosed with schizophrenia,and since then he has lived in a mental hospital for a long time and continued to create.At present,the study of Shizhi poetry has become an important topic in the study of contemporary Chinese poetry,but unfortunately the study focused mainly on the Shizhi poetry during the"Cultural Revolution" period.Researchers rarely pay attention 'to Shizhi's poetry in the mental hospital after suffering from schizophrenia,especially after the 1980s.There is almost no research paper exploring Shizhi's poetry creation from the perspective of schizophrenia.As everyone knows,Shizhi's poetry after suffering from schizophrenia,in addition to having a higher aesthetic value,it has more important research value in reflecting the "change" and "invariability" of Shizhi's poetry content and form,and the interaction between Shizhi's poetry creation and schizophrenia,etc.This article will focus on Shizhi's poetry after suffering from schizophrenia and explore the multifaceted mapping of Shizhi's poetry and schizophrenia in order to break through the current research on Shizhi's poetry.Research ideas are cut from both the content and the form.Firstly,in the content dimension,this article will explore Shizhi's changes in the space-time experience under the influence of schizophrenia,and the increasingly closed living space,then Shizhi from the social space to the psychiatric hospital until he sinks into the spiritual world,and his poetry has also experienced the process from anguish and anxiety to heavy thinking.Shizhi's living space was dramatically compressed,and the change in the' sense of space made his time experience different from ordinary people.Thus,he was forced to concentrate on the past and the present,and his poems also showed the same qualities.Secondly,in the form dimension,Shizhi followed the new rhyme poems since the May 4th New Culture Movement,which was advocated by Xu Zhimo,Wen Yiduo and others.Shizhi's poetic concept was deeply influenced by He Qifang,He Jingzhi and others.And the form of Shizhi poetry has not changed much.The unchanging form of poetry exactly reflects the paranoid idea of Shizhi,which contradicts Shizhi's schizophrenia.Finally,by summarizing the interaction between Shizhi's poetry and schizophrenia,this paper affirms the influence of schizophrenia on Shizhi's poetry creation and the therapeutic effect of poetry writing on Shizhi's schizophrenia.At the same time,this article attempts to clarify the misunderstanding that "poets are crazy" and to briefly discuss "schizophrenia" as a cultural symptom and its presentation in Shizhi's early poetry.
