The Influence Of Emotional Pictures On External Source Memory

Episodic memory is personally experienced by the individual and memorizes the events that occurred under specific backgrounds and locations.For example,playing basketball with friends at a basketball court last weekend.Episodic memory can be divided into source memory and item memory according to the different status of the contained content information.Source memory is the detailed memory of experienced events.It refers to the memory of memories thathave experienced background information,such as the time and placeof events,the shape and color of related items,etc.The item memory is the individual's memory of the content of the event it experienced,only the project itself,does not include the event information.In the classification of external source memory,the source of color belongs to the source of contact,the source of position belongs to the organization of the source,research shows that the process of colorsource and position source are different.This study is divided into two experiments.Experiment 1 examines the effect of different emotional valence pictures on color source memory,Using a mixed experiment design of 2(paradigm type: sequence reaction paradigm,multi-key task paradigm)× 3(picture type: positive image,negative image,neutral image),the paradigm type is the inter-subject factor,and the picture type is the intra-subject factor.Experiment 2 examines the effect of emotional pictures on location source memory.Experiments using a mixed experiment of 2(paradigm type: sequence reaction paradigm,multi-key task paradigm)× 3(picture type: positive image,negative image,neutral image),the paradigm type is the inter-subject factor,and the picture type is the intra-subject factor.The experiment yields the following results:(1)The correct rate of project recognizing and correctness of color source memory are significantly higher for positive and negative pictures than for neutral pictures,positive and negative pictures were significantly shorter than neutral pictures when they were recognized in response time and color source memory reaction.(2)The accuracy of the location source of positive and negative pictures are significantly lower than that of neutral pictures,and the location of positive pictures and negative picturesare significantly longer than the neutral pictures.(3)The color source memory accuracy rate and position source memory accuracy rate of the sequence paradigm group were significantly higher than those of the multi-task task group.The color source memory response time and position source memory response of the sequence paradigm group were significantly shorter than those of the multi-key task group.The key task paradigm group was tested.This experiment draws the following conclusions:(1)Emotional images can enhance color source memory and have an enhanced effect on the source of connectedness.(2)Emotional stimuli weaken the source of location memory.Emotional stimuli have different effects on the source of connection and the source of organization.(3)Whether in the study of color source memory or position source memory research,the sequence paradigm task,the individual has activated the source information extraction in the project memory judgment.
