Intangible cultural heritage is the cream of national culture,the symbol of national wisdom,and the crystallization of national spirit.However,nowdays,some of the intangible cultural heritage is faced with a crisis that is on the verge of extinction.If traditional culture wants to be passed down and thrive for a long time,traditional culture must be established on the basis of widespread dissemination.Simple language is too abstract,compared with that,recording and displaying documentaries can be regarded as the most appropriate and effective way.Recording and treasuring these intangible cultural heritage with images and telling the audience about their history and heritage enable these national cultural treasures to be saved,protected and inherited,which has become an important choice for the times.Combining the traditional culture with the two of the documentaries can better show the charm of traditional culture on the screen,let more people understand it,understand it,form a direct and effective communication,and can also keep the traditional culture in the form of image for permanent preservation,which is of great significance to the inheritance and development of traditional culture to a certain extent.As a form of artistic expression,the documentary film of non-heritage has effectively promoted the protection and inheritance of the non-heritage culture with its own characteristics of authenticity,objectivity and artistry.However,with the increasing of the standards of documentary examination,the audience is not satisfied with the profound cultural connotations in the documentary documentaries,but also can play the role of "learning in music".And the story of the expression to meet the needs of the audience,with the audience loved the narrative way to tell a good cultural story.In the rich fun at the same time,but also to meet the psychological needs of audiences.Now,the use of storytelling expressions is becoming more and more frequent,which has gradually become a common narrative method in documentaries of intangible cultural heritage.Mainly from the four parts,this papper expounds the narrative expression of the documentary on intangible cultural heritage.Firstly,this paper gives a brief overview of the definition and classification of intangible cultural heritage documentaries and the origin of documentaries.Through the summary of the literature,this paper combs the development status of documentary about the intangible cultural heritage.Secondly,in the process of studying documents and documentaries,this paper finds some problems in the story telling of documentary on intangible cultural heritage.In combination with some cases,this paper summarizes the typical problems existing in the story telling of the intangible cultural heritage documentary,which are over pursuing the audio-visual effect,weakening the theme depth,abusing the scene reappearance,damaging the authenticity of the story,cater to the audience's needs,and weakening the cultural connotation.Thirdly,combined with the documentary on domestic intangible cultural heritage and the author's graduation work,“insistence to the craft·heritage”.From five aspects: the choice of subject matter,the use of lens language,the use of voice language,the application of scene reappearance and the setting of suspense,this paper analyzes and expounds the strategy of storytelling in documentary on intangible cultural heritage.Among them,the lens language includes four parts: close-up,empty shot,long lens and clip;voice language includes three parts: commentary,music and synchronization.Through these five aspects of the detailed exposition,this paper makes the documentary on intangible cultural heritage more ornamental.Finally,the author also tries to explore the future development trend of the intangible cultural heritage documentary.
