Romanticism,has been as much praised as blamed for a long time.It gives freedom to the spiritual world of humankind and artistic creation,meanwhile,it shows deep concern and reflections to existence circumstances of mankind.Romanticism appeared different traits in England,France and Germany respectively.England was close to nature,France annotated the meaning of love and true,and Germany explored endless possibilities.All of them had gained abundant achievements.Later,romanticism exerted far-reaching influence on French symbolism and Russian realism.Romanticism reminds humans of care for the essence of mankind,pushes the development of anti-modernity literature,and also has innovatory effect on paradigms of aesthetic and thought.At the same time,non-rationality had been expanding and overflowing due to romanticism,which brought about destructive catastrophic such as totalitarianism,massacre and so on.It's no doubt that humans should rethink about romanticism.However,the problems which romanticism has blamed for or has been blamed for still exist.How to understand romanticism fully is a key issue which is inevitable.How to defend basic human rights and keep the energy of creativity and thinking at the same time,which is difficult to grasp.
