A Study On The Music Of Nuo Opera In Northwestern Hunan

As the ancient tradition of the Miao Nationality in northwestern Hunan,the Nuo opera in northwestern Hunan,developed by the ritual of exorcise,has become an integral part of the music culture of the Miao Nuo opera.With the development of history and the change of times,it has become a bridge to communicate the music culture between Miao people and the outside world.Nuo opera is a sacrificial activity composed of various kinds of art of singing,instrumental dance and traditional opera.The article is based on the singing of Nuo opera in northwestern Hunan.The article studies the main objects from history,investigation and theory.It mainly sums up the relationship between the present living background,cultural environment and the development of Nuo opera in northwestern Hunan,and briefly describes its historical development.Combining the theory of traditional music morphology and ethnomusicology,this paper examines the differences and similarities between the Nuo opera in several regions of Northwest Hunan from the perspective of history and reality,and probes into the cultural characteristics of the Nuo opera by comparing with the other music culture and culture of the Miao nationality.Through the study and comparison of the art of Nuo opera in northwestern Hunan,it can be divided into two main parts of singing and accompaniment,the former through the vocal art of singing skills summed up into the singing skills of the voice type,the sound of sound skills,the contrast words and the way of moistening the cavity of the three aspects of the comparison and analysis.
