Who are the " The Four Calligraphers in early Tang Dynasty " ? Yangxun Ou,Shi Na Yu,Suiliang Chu,Ji Xue or Yangxun Ou,ShiNa Yu,Suiliang Chu,Jianzhi Lu? There have been a lot of discuss about this issue in history.At present,it is widely believed that The Four Calligraphers in early Tang Dynasty are Yangxun Ou,ShiNa Yu,Suiliang Chu,Jianzhi Lu.In this paper,I have analyzed and compared the historical data about this problem.And then,I ’d like to find the reason for the formation and evolution of the concept about four people.In addition,I’ll try to prove that " The Four Calligraphers in early Tang Dynasty " are Yangxun Ou,Na YuShi,Suiliang Chu,Jianzhi Lu.At the same time,the views of "Three Calligraphers in early Tang Dynasty " will be questioned.The purpose of this study is to provide a reflection and theoretical basis for the study of The Four Calligrapher in Early Tang Dynasty.
