Research On The Cultural Turn Of The New Enlightenment Movement

In the mid and late 1930 s,the New Enlightenment Movement began after the May 4th Movement.Under the call of Chen Boda,a new enlightenment campaign that promoted "patriotism" and "democracy" began to vigorously spread on China's land.Since then,Ai Siqi,He Qianzhi,Hu Sheng and others have responded positively.The new Enlightenment Movement was launched in Peiping and Shanghai,and it reached a superb performance when it was remembered on the 18 th anniversary of the May Fourth Movement.The new Enlightenment Movement was mainly aimed at emancipating the mind,but the cultural movement advocated by the Enlightenment Reformers turned again.The New Enlightenment Movement showed a similar trend of thought as the May Fourth Movement,but then gradually subsided in the fireworks of the Anti-Japanese War.The new enlightenment The movement only raised relevant issues,but it failed to produce far-reaching ideological revolutions,nor did it produce historical influences like the May Fourth Movement.However,from the perspective of its cultural turn,under the influence of Marxist thought,it has prospectively analyzed that it still has an important influence on the development of Chinese ideological culture and the victory of the new democratic revolution.This article takes the Neo-Enlightenment as the research object,analyzes the background and process of the new Enlightenment,studies the cultural turn of the new Enlightenment under the influence of Marxism,and puts forward their own views.In terms of the cultural turn of the Neo-Enlightenment,the author believes that it mainly manifests itself in the following aspects: Begin to pay attention to reality,pay attention to national interests,from perceptual to rational,popularization of the subject of enlightenment and science.Cultural turn means a new beginning.It means that the past cultural nature,cultural content,etc.have had different influences on the cultural movements in the new Enlightenment Movement and their subsequent cultures,and they have deeply analyzed several aspects of the cultural turn of the New Enlightenment Movement.It analyzes its influence on Marxist philosophy.At the same time,the historical position of the New Enlightenment Movement was also analyzed.The author believes that the cultural turn in the Enlightenment Movement was guided not only by the Marxist world outlook and methodology,but also by the practice of the Marxist historical,cultural,and mass outlook,and more importantly,to promote The development of Marxist philosophy is that Marxism truly took root in China and laid a solid theoretical foundation for the victory of the new democratic revolution.The turn of culture means new beginnings and new goals.In the process of socialist modernization,we should continue to carry out the ideological enlightenment and maintain a positive and healthy mental state.Under the guidance of Marxism,we should use innovative thinking,rational thinking,and open thinking to meet the opportunities and challenges of the new era,and make full use of the Enlightenment training.The patriotic enthusiasm of the people provides a solid intellectual support and cultural impetus for the socialist modernization drive and the completion of the great cause of socialist modernization.
