The Influence Of Conscience On Trust Repair And Trust Violation In Different Scenarios

Objective:Trust is the behaviour that the trusting party acts accordingly when possessing expectation on the trusted party.And with the constant development of the technology,more and more behaviour of trust doesn't appear in the real world any more.Conscience,keeping distinguishing right from wrong and good from evil as the core,is a series of value standard to pursue good and avoid evil and a concept with Chinese characteristic culture.The research,with a certain theoretical meaning and application value,aims to discuss the psychological mechanism of the trusting party 's conscience for trust violation and trust repair under different circumstance and provide the empirical research for trust violation and trust repair in the aspect of conscience.Method:On the basis of inquiring and collating pertinent literature at home and abroad and integrating the previous research,the research framework is made.The present research,adopting experimentation,is divided into two steps and two experiments.First Research ? investigates the effect that the conscience has on the trust violation on different occasion;Research ? discusses the effect that conscience and occasions have on the trust repair after using the repair strategy.Result:In Research ?,the main effects of different levels of conscience and different occasions are obvious after the trust violation and to the extent of trust violation,and the interaction between conscience and occasion is obvious.In Research ?,the main effects of the conscience,occasion and trust repair strategy are obvious,with the second integration among the three being obvious and the third integration being not evident.Conclusion:(1)The higher conscience one has,the more easily one can reduce the sense of trust violation.(2)In the real-world occasion,compared with the people with high level of conscience,those with low level of conscience will cause more serious extent of trust violation;while in the virtual world occasion,there is no difference of the extent of trust violation between trusting parties with high level of conscience and those with low level of conscience.(3).In the real-world occasion,it's easier for the people with high level of conscience to repair the trust than those with low level of conscience,while in the virtual world occasion,the conscience makes no difference for the trust repair.(4)The trusting parties with high level of conscience will pay more attention to whether the trusted parties apologize to repair trust while those with low level of conscience will show more concern about whether the trusted parties repair trust through economic compensation.(5)In the real-world occasion,the trusting parties is more inclined to see the trusted parties repair the trust through economic compensation while in the virtual world occasion,the trusting parties is more inclined to see the trusted parties repair the trust by apologizing.
