This dissertation focus on "the study of the artistic features of Mozart’s string quintets",namely, the four works of Mozart,K.515,K.516,K.593,and K.614,which are written in mature period(and also the last five years of his life). The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze the artistic features of each string quintet from the work itself. The structure of the dissertation is roughly divided into three parts. The first part, namely the first chapter,is an overview of the string quintet in the classical period, including the origin, development and maturity of the genre. And at the same time,it was involved in the consideration and narration of the music style in this process. The clear division appeared in the 1780 stage, which could be called the "mannerist" style before this node. The later is "classical style".The second part of the dissertation is an analysis of Mozart’s four string quintets’ artistic characteristics. Each capital is narrated and analyzed in a chapter. The so-called "artistic characteristics research" is to focus on the aesthetic value and unique meaning of music works. So in every work I analyze,I will try to extract the main characteristics of this work in a category. For example,in K.515,the author locates this work with "broad nature";in K.516,the author generalizes "tragic";for K.593,the author thinks that the most prominent feature is "concentration";in K.614,it is "Haydn flavor".The last part, the last chapter,is the summary and summary of the analysis of the above four works from the perspective of analytical theory. At the same time, from the definition and development of "analysis",the author reexamines the analysis of this "artistic feature" in the greater context of analysis.
