The portrait of the Han Dynasty played an extremely important role in the history of Chinese art.Among them were portraits, enamel paintings, and murals. In the study of these arts, most scholars will analyze the content from the perspective of image science and explore the historical, religious and political information contained in the images. This kind of research direction is undoubtedly necessary for the study of history, and its disadvantage is that a large number of similar works fully illustrate its functionality while also concealing the artistry. As an artist of Qin and Han art, portrait stone is represented artistically in the styling characteristics of portraiture, the artistic expression of the painting, the creative application of the knife and the artist's rational arrangement of the painting. Most scholars talk about the artistry of the stone.Style analysis is often used to classify stone reliefs, and the relationship between the images is rarely explored. The author attempts to return to the purest artistic languageline, taking the characteristics of "information in line" in traditional Chinese painting as the starting point, trying to reveal the artistic information that was once left on the screen. The article is mainly divided into two parts. The first part is the exploration of the linear expression of the art of Qin and Han based on stonework. The second part is the analysis of the connection between the stone and the print.
