This article is intended to discuss and demonstrate the relationship between the display carrier of photography and the expressive force of photography with the continuous development of imaging technology and the continuous change of the photographic display carrier since the invention of photography.First,from the "Gestalt" psychology as the basis of "the whole" from the perspective of "the whole" to find the photographic display carrier as the "part" of the photographic works,and the theoretical basis for the influence of the performance of the works,and the innovation of each technique in the development of photography technology is a new way in the principle of imaging,but few in the original side.The unique law of further reform in law is analyzed and demonstrated.Secondly,from the "photography display carrier language why the impact on the performance of the work?" And "how does photographic plane carrier language affect image expressiveness?" From these two perspectives,we analyze the reasons why photographic carriers affect the expressive power of works from the perspective of history and technology.Then,in view of the influence of the photographic carrier on the visual experience,the two pictures of the "traditional photographic carrier",the wet and dry silver salt film,show the effect and the visual habits of the public viewing habits because of the technical,aesthetic and conceptual factors.It has an influence on the visual expressiveness of the photographic works,and how modern technology and the digital photography carrier produced by modern technology make use of its technical advantages to copy and mobilize the visual experience accumulated before and to use the characteristics of its own fusion and development to guide and expand its own way of watching and feeling.Finally,in view of the photographer's choice in the creation process,the author gives suggestions on how to choose the carrier for photography.
