The Relationship Among Parental Involvement,creative Self-efficacy And Middle School Students' Creativity | Posted on:2019-06-26 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:X K Wang | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2405330548460462 | Subject:Education | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Twenty-first Century is the era of rapid development of science and technology.The birth of technology is inseparable from innovation.For primary and secondary school students who are growing and developing,their creativity training should be emphasized.The confluence of creativity ecosystem theory and creativity research point out that individual development is influenced by multiple factors such as individual and environment.Parental involvement is the full name of parental participation(Parental Involvement)as "parental participation in children's education activities" or "parental participation in school education",as well as "parental participation",which refers to their parents' participation in their children's learning activities or educational processes,either directly or indirectly,based on the care of their children's education.Father participation and mother's participation.It has been found that father participation and mother participation have significant influence on individual cognition and learning achievement.Creative self-efficacy has an important position in the process of individual creativity training and development,and family socioeconomic status is positively related to creativity.Bronfenbrenner believes that individual growth is determined by both environmental and individual factors.Then,how does parental participation,creative self-efficacy,and family socioeconomic status play a role in creativity? This study will explore the theoretical basis of creativity convergence orientation and ecosystem model,and put forward pertinent suggestions and guidance for the improvement of creativity of middle school students.This study uses the creativity questionnaire compiled by Runco and others,as well as the Parental involvement scale in Grolnick,Ryan and Deci(1991),the parent evaluation questionnaire of family socioeconomic status and the Creative Self-efficacy Questionnaire,which are used to test 26 classes in four middle schools in Ji'nan and explore their parents.The role of participation in predicting middle school students' creativity is the mediating role of creative self efficacy in parental involvement and middle school students' creativity.It also explores whether familysocioeconomic status plays a moderating role in the mediating effect of creative self efficacy on parental involvement and creativity.The results of the study show that:1.The main effect of gender and grade is significant,and female creativity is significantly higher than that of boys.Junior middle school students' creativity is significantly higher than that of senior high school students.The three dimensions of creativity fluency,flexibility and originality are significant.The creativity fluency,flexibility and originality of female students are significantly higher than those of male and middle school students;the main effect of creativity fluency and originality is significant,and the creativity of junior high school students is significantly higher than that of high school students.The interaction between sex and grade was not significant.The gender main effect of creative self-efficacy is significant,the creative self-efficacy of boys is significantly higher than that of girls;the grade main effect is significant,the creative self-efficacy of junior high school students is significantly higher than that of high school students,and the interaction between gender and grade is not significant.The gender main effect of creative strategy and belief and negative evaluation belief was significant.The creative strategies and beliefs and negative evaluation beliefs of boys were significantly higher than those of girls;creative strategies and beliefs,creative product beliefs and negative evaluation beliefs were significant in grade main effect.The belief is significantly higher than that of high school students.The interaction between sex and grade was not significant.2.Mother involvement in predicting middle school students' creativity.3.There is no significant gender difference in maternal creativity prediction among mothers.4.Creative self-efficacy and its various dimensions(creative strategy belief,creative product belief,anti negative evaluation belief)play a part of mediating role between Mother involvement and creativity of middle school students.5.Family socioeconomic status does not play a moderating role in the mediating process of creative self efficacy on Mother involvement and middle school students' creativity. | Keywords/Search Tags: | parental involvement, creative self-efficacy, creativity, family socioeconomic status | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
