This study starts from Tolman's objective behavior theory,studies the current situation of college students' creativity,explores the effects of parenting styles and self-efficacy on the creativity of college students,and helps them to improve their creativity levels.Parental rearing styles and family environment.In this study,800 students from a university were investigated by questionnaire survey.After statistical analysis,the following conclusions were drawn.This study used a parenting style scale,a creative self-efficacy scale,and a creative power meter as research tools to conduct surveys on 800 college students in Jiangxi Province.After statistical analysis of SPSS software,this study yielded the following results?First,parents use neglected methods to teach students significantly more than adopting autocracy,emotional warmth,trust encouragement or love.Compared with girls,parents show more emotional warmth toward boys and love boys more.For rural parents,they love their children more than parents in town.College students have lower confidence in creative products,and scores on the two subscales of creative thinking strategy and negative evaluation are significantly higher.Girls scored significantly higher on the creative product beliefs and anti-negative evaluation scale than boys.College students from towns were significantly higher than those from rural areas.College students' creativity,imaginative and risk-taking scores are relatively high,and their curiosity and challenge are relatively low.On the four subscales,the scores from urban undergraduates were significantly higher than those from rural areas;the adventurous and challenging scores of girls were significantly higher than those of boys.Second,there is a significant positive correlation between parenting style,creative self-efficacy,and creativity.The low level of creative self-efficacy of college students is related to parental autonomy;parental trust encouragement,emotional warmth and affection are positively correlated with college students' creative self-efficacy.Parental neglect is associated with low-level creative thinking strategy beliefs and creative product beliefs,and there is no significant positive correlationwith anti-negative evaluation beliefs.Low level of creativity is related to parents' high degree of autocracy and low level of trust encouragement,emotional warmth and love of love;neglect is negatively related to adventurousness and curiosity,and positively related to imagination and challenge.Third,the creative self-efficacy of college students plays a role in mediation between parenting style and creativity.The interview study of sixty college students basically verified the results of quantitative research.
