Iran is one of the key node countries along the silk road,which is closely influenced by its politics,religious culture and collective sanctions from other countries.With the initiation of “The Belt and Road” initiative,there is growing concern about this country among Chinese scholars.This article briefly discusses the current Iranian banking system,which revolves around the central bank and involves different forms of banking and credit institutions.In Chapter two,taking Iranian monetary policy as the main research object,money and banking theory is applied to analyze and summarize Iran's monetary policy framework.From the third chapter,this article further analyzes the implementation and actual results of Iranian monetary policy practiced from the year 1989,and tries to interpret the current situation from different aspect.On this basis,to catering to “The Belt and Road” initiative,some reasonable suggestions are provided for the development in economic cooperation between China and Iran.
