The name of a store is the most common social term,which embodies people's creativity and language charm,and also reflects a certain food culture and the aesthetic psychology,and is closely related to the economy,culture,times and spiritual outlook.The study of the living linguistic phenomena has theoretical and practical significance.This paper takes the name of Chinese restaurant in Wuhan as the research object,has collected 3784 Chinese restaurant names in the three towns of Wuhan in total,uses corpus research methods,combines quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis,and analyzes the linguistic features of the Shop-named action from Linguistics Perspective,to explore the naming psychology and regional cultural characteristics reflected in the store name.The full text is mainly divided into four parts:The first part analyzes the phonetic characteristics of the Chinese restaurant names in Wuhan City,firstly,the number of syllables in the restaurant names is statistically analyzed,the rhythm characteristics of the two-tone and rhyme rhythm are analyzed,and then compared with pronunciation of the Chinese restaurants names in Beijing,Shanghai and Changsha.The second part mainly analyzes the lexical features of store names,and analyzes the vocabulary choices of the general names,business names,and proper names,and summarizes the high-frequency words and their semantic choices of Chinese restaurant names in Wuhan City.It is also compared with vocabulary of restaurant names in Beijing,Shanghai,and Changsha.The third part mainly analyzes the rhetorical methods,such as hyperbole,metaphor,pun and citations.The fourth part mainly analyzes the local cultural elements and social psychological characteristics of Wuhan reflected by the store name.Through the analysis of the traditional historical culture,the contemporary city culture,and the characteristic regional culture of the store name,it summarizes the dietary psychological characteristics and popular wind direction of the food culture circle in Wuhan.
