Reaserch On Urban New Ballads In The Field Offolk Literature

"Urban new ballads " are cultural phenomena derived from urban.At the same time,the two words of "ballads " are also slightly associated with "folk ballads " in folk literature.Therefore,this dissertation selects "Urban new ballads" as the object of study.In the field of folk literature,through the study of the "Urban new ballads" as a urban living cultural phenomenon,it discusses its cultural characteristics and performance essence as "urban folk literature",and regard it as a cultural paradigm of the "Urban Folklore",applying the guidance of folk literature and folklore related theories,and presenting the folk literary characteristics,folklore attributes,and making a new exploration of function and valuethe as the combination of tradition and modernity in the real context.This dissertation is divided into introduction,five chapters,epilogue,reference,appendix,acknowledgement and other parts.The whole dissertation has 5.2 thousands words.The introduction mainly discusses the topic and its significance,literature review and research theory and method;the first chapter combs the concept and definition of "folk ballads" to "urban new ballads" in the sense of folk literature;the second chapter analyzes "text" in "urban new ballads",and introduced separately from several types of folk songs,stories,poetry,politics,and other types.In the third chapter,the "performance" of "urban new ballads" is studied,mainly from three aspects,such as "performance subject","participating subject" and "performance space",from singers,listeners and performance places,and the "ritual" interaction between the singer and the audience and the "ritual" between the singer and the audience.On the basis of the above discussion,the fourth chapter points out the folk nature of "urban new ballad",and discusses the unity of individual creation and collective participation,the variation of stylization in the process of re creation,the inheritance of the stable performance pattern,and the oral nature of the modernization.The fifth chapter,starting with the characteristics of "urban new ballads",analyzes its functions of understanding and moralizing,entertainment and catharsis,as well as its unique aesthetic value and its typical research value as "combination of tradition and modern".The last part is the conclusion of this dissertation,summarizing the content and framework of the full dissertation,and pointing out the shortcomings in this writing.
