Typical Research On The Political Behavior Of Professors During The Period Of The National Government

Professors’ political participation is a very special political phenomenon in modern Chinese history.The reasons for its emergence and flourishing are various,including all aspects of politics,culture and social life.Judging from the actual results,the behavior of professors in politics is of great importance to the elimination of political situation,the development of specialized disciplines and the continuous improvement of higher education status in the Republic of China.And these are also a few problems that this article is trying to solve.This paper intends to divide the political professors into three categories,one is for-reputation politics,that is,the political behavior of the professor has not touched the fundamental of politics to a certain extent,but has a profound influence on the cultural field.Most of them are engaged in cultural diplomacy,and they also play a significant role in international communication and popularization and dissemination of Chinese culture.The second category is under-stress politics,that is,professors’ political behavior is largely influenced by realistic background event.Their outspoken performance at the time of national disaster can greatly stimulate national enthusiasm of the people.However,under-stress politics also appears to be very time-sensitive.Once the crisis is lifted,professors who are stressed out of politics are no longer willing to stay in the political arena,and have left their posts.They seem to have no interest in politics.The third category is through-technology politics,that is,professors mostly rely on their own professional and technical knowledge to enter the political realm.They also shine in their own professional fields and,to a certain extent,have promoted the continuous progress of wartime Chinese science and technology.It has very important significance.However,the impact on the political situation is still very limited,and it cannot have a substantial impact on the internal decisions of the political bureau.The behavior of professors in politics promoted the political openness and cultural prosperity of the Republic of China to a certain extent,and also had a profound impact on the progress of disciplines and the development of higher education,but because of the strong dictatorship of the national government itself and the power of the party who is keen on the political party,the administration will only be a political means,in addition to stabilizing the situation,it is difficult to have a more practical role.
