Interest is the key to learning,and English learning interest is more important to primary school students,because they are at a special time in their lives.Good learning interest can make children invest time in English class,improve learning efficiency,develop the habit of self-study and finally make progress in English study.So,which factors affect pupils' interest in learning English?How to improve students' interest in English?I carry out the investigation and analysis to answer the teachers' questions.This study is based on the theoretical basis of creation of environmental interests and personal interests and the transformation of environmental interest to personal interest.The study was conducted students from Grade 3 to Grade 6,some of their parent from Han Tie primary school,and 30 primary school teachers had taken part in the research.Through the interview,some important factors influencing pupils' English learning have been analyzled.Through investigation and research,we find that pupils'interest in English is related to their age and gender.And the factors affecting the interest of English learning in primary school students are summarized from three aspects of students' internal factors,environmental factors and classroom factors.The conclusion of this study is helpful to guide teachers in pratical teaching.Teachers should not only teach students according to their gender and age,but also pay attention to develop their positive emotion,establish good relationship between family and school,and attach importance to the development of teachers' professional skills.To lay a solid foundation for students'lifelong learning and scientific learning concepts.
