The sociologist Horkhild first proposed the concept of emotional labor and classified it as surface acting,deep acting,and active deep acting.The related research in the later period confirmed that the consumption of psychological resources at the surface acting a significant negative correlation with job satisfaction and positively correlated with fatigue.Deep acting is the result of secondary mental processing,which can ease the negative feelings brought about by emotional labor.As a kind of service industry,the main difference between the emotional work of tour guides and other posts is that they need to transform emotional expressions in a timely manner in order to face different styles of tourists,which indirectly leads to an increase in the workload of emotional work;there is no fixed organization for tour guides.The emotional fluctuations that occur during work and the lack of timely organizational support,therefore,the guides need to adopt appropriate strategies for self-regulation of emotions.Self-compassion is a new area of research in recent years.It originated from Buddhism,emphasizing that individuals face their own environment objectively and conduct reasonable self-psychological adjustments.Numberous research results show that high self-compassion individuals can have more active strategies for adjusting emotions,have higher psychological flexibility,have a negative correlation with negative emotions,and have a positive correlation with positive psychological status.Therefore,this study attempts to combine self-sympathy with emotional labor to test whether self-compassion can alleviate the negative effects of emotional labor.In this study,a questionnaire survey method was adopted.Self-compassion was used as a control variable to examine the relationship between 203 subjects' emotional work satisfaction and fatigue.The results of the analysis show that:(1)Surface acting a positive correlation with work fatigue,negative correlation with job satisfaction and pay satisfaction;(2)deep acting and natural acting,both with negative explanation of work fatigue,and job satisfaction Positive correlation with salary satisfaction;(3)Self-compassion,playing a regulatory role between the three dimensions of emotional labor and the relationship between work fatigue;playing a regulatory role between the surface acting and pay satisfaction.Conclusion:Self-compassion as a positive emotion regulation strategy can relieve the fatigue caused by emotional labor and adjust the relationship between the surface acting and pay satisfaction.Compared with the surface acting,deep acting and active deep acting,it is the individual's relatively real emotional cognitive expression,less or no psychological resource consumption,so the self-sympathetic regulation is not significant.
