Research On The Five Sons Self-cultivation In The Northern Song Dynasty And Its Enlightenment To Socialist Citizen Moral Construction

The five sons of the Northern Song Dynasty refer to the well-known philosophers and educators living in the middle of the Northern Song Dynasty: Zhou Dunyi(1017~1073),Shao Xin(1011~1077),Zhang Zai(1020~1077),Cheng Hao(1032~1085),and Cheng Wei(1033).~1107).They combined their social backgrounds and social morality with a grim situation.According to what they learned,they put forward their own moral cultivation theory.Their moral cultivation theory has its own characteristics,and at the same time it is closely related to each other.The excellent thoughts contained in the five sons cultivation theory in the Northern Song Dynasty are an important part of the Confucian traditional culture,which contains a large number of theoretical elements that can be used for reference to the current socialist citizen moral construction.For these traditional moral cultivation theories,we should apply Marxist theory,enhance its essence,go to its dross,and inherit and develop on the basis of criticism.With such an original intention,this paper takes the current construction of socialist citizenship as an entry point,and tries to summarize and analyze the cultivation theory of Wuzi in the Northern Song Dynasty in order to obtain some useful inspirations.The full text is divided into three parts.Specifically,the first part is the historical background of the formation of the five sons of the Northern Song Dynasty.Social existence determines social consciousness.Any kind of ideological theory cannot survive the economic and social environment in which it depends.The ethical thoughts of the “Five Sons of the Northern Song Dynasty” originated in the late Tang and early Song dynasties.The state's land ownership system was transformed into the dominant position of landowners' private ownership.With the development of the imperial examination system,the people of the first class have a greater say in politics.The second part: The main contents of the theory of cultivation of the "Five Sons in the Northern Song Dynasty".Zhou Dun holds the "sincerity" as the origin of morality,the moral cultivation advocates "the desirelessness of the master",and Shao Yong firmly believes that "human spirit is in the thing".As long as people adhere to the principle of "sincerity and desirability",they will eventually pass through heaven and earth.Zhang Zai insists on the concept of humanity for "building a living for the people".He believes that through "changing temperament",everyone can develop perfect personality;Er Cheng believes that morality originates from "nature" and the fundamental way to enhance morality is "respect for self-cultivation.",Continuous learning,the pursuit of moral perfection.The third part: The Enlightenment of the Five Songs' Self-cultivation Theory in the Northern Song Dynasty on the Construction of Socialist Citizen Moral.Since the reform and opening up,the stimulation of material interests and the turmoil of multiple ideological cultures have caused a great deal of moral anomie,and the building of socialist citizenship has become increasingly necessary and urgent.Moral construction cannot cut traditions.As an important part of Confucian traditional culture,the essence contained in the cultivation theory of "Five Sons of the Northern Song Dynasty" has important reference value for socialist citizen moral construction.
