Chinese X-not-X Affirmative-negative Questions has unique construction,as a part of Chinese Interrogative Questions,which is an important part and an aporia in teaching process.During teaching process,we find that there are some errors when students use Affirmative-negative Questions.We retrieved the relevant literature data,and find that the ontology research on Affirmative-negative Questions is plentiful,while the research on second language acquisition is rare.Due to this,there is a dilemma that the plentiful ontology theories can not be applied to Chinese teaching.This paper is built on the basis of current research.First of all,concentrating on analyzing foreign students' acquisition features of Affirmative-negative Questions,and then comparing the differences of acquisition features between foreign students and the natives.Secondly,summarizing the types and causes of errors.Lastly,providing some effective suggestions.In order to solve the problems above,this paper is primarily based on Three-dimension Theory,combining Sentential construction Theory and Second Language Acquisition Theory,associating with using several methods to collect related data.And using the methods of Data Statistics,Comparative and Analysis,and Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis,summarizing the acquisition features and errors of Affirmative-negative Questions used by foreign students.The research shows that the sentential construction of Affirmative-negative Questions used by foreign students are limited and not flexible,the applicational situation of semantic and pragmatic functions is poor.Worsely,some errors do exist.Therefore,this paper proposes some suggestions from perspective of teaching methods,textbook designing and learning strategies.Firstly,adjusting the teaching order of Affirmative-negative Questions.Secondly,emphasizing the distinctions of some similar interrogative sentences.Thirdly,enhancing students' practice of weak points.Furthermore,improving the design of textbooks as while as enriching the methods of language training.Furthermore,learners should adjust their learning mentalities and strategies.Therefore,foreign students' acquisition effect of Affirmative-negative Questions would be improved.This paper are composed of five parts.The first part is preface,it states the purpose and significance of this research,the current research status,research area,the sources of corpus,and research methods.The second part mainly discusses the acquisition features of Affirmative-negative Questions,which including syntactic features,structural features,semantic and pragmatics features.And then compares the differences of features of Affirmative-negative Questions used by foreign students and Chinese native speakers respectively.The third part is error analysis,summarizes the types of errors and explains the causes of errors.The fourth part puts forward some suggestions on teaching methods,textbook designing,and learning strategies based on foreign students' acquisition features and errors of X-not-X Affirmative-negative Questions.
