"Body" and its related research is an important theme of contemporary art,which is paid close attention to by the theme and practice of contemporary art.The body of posthuman is one of its theme.The attention of posthuman is the same as the attention of self-spirit and future life.At present,there are plenty of artistic works about body.How should we know the body of posthuman and the idea of its creation clearly?The thesis is based on the body image of contemporary art which is affected by posthumanism,combining with the development of the theory of posthumanism,common cultural phenomenon and present art creation to have a discussion by using cases.It is aimed at discovering the relationship among the appearance of the theme,the development of technology and art,which are inter-affected and inter-promoted.The thesis is divided into five chapters which explore the development of posthuman,bodies of different fields about posthuman,the body of posthuman in contemporary art and the inspiration of art creation.The thesis talks about the direction of art creation,analysis of the language of artistic works,choices of media and the concept that the art shows.It summarizes three significances of the body of posthuman in contemporary art affected by posthumanism.First,the body of posthuman,one of the most important theme of contemporary art,affects the tendency of the future of art and enriches the contents of posthumanism.Second,the appearance of the theme of the body related to posthuman shows the extension of multicultural phenomenon.Third,the theme of the body of posthuman is not only concerned about human’s living but also it is an active exploration of future responsibility that we should take.
