Liang Kai is the president of the Ningzong JiaTai Art Academy in Southern Song Dynasty.His teachers are Jia Shigu and Li Gonglin.He is good at painting characters,ghosts,Taoism,flowers and birds.He is also good at exquisite fine strokes and freehand thick brushstrokes.Among them,his subtractive strokes and ink paintings have the most profound influence.In the Southern Song dynasty,painting was created for the feudal system,and the mainstream of painting was the detailed painting style.His paintings also changed from the early pure pursuit of form to the emphasis on the deities.At the same time,he focused on the use of pen and ink,innovated strokes and splashes of ink,and changed the traditional expression of freehand brushwork.Therefore,his works demonstrate the diversity of the painting language of Chinese freehand character paintings.This article studies the painting language of Liang Kai's freehand figure painting through six parts.The first part learned through the method of literature research.At present,there is a lack of specialized research on Liang Kai's monographs.The second part reads the literature to understand that during the Southern Song Dynasty,it was in a period of rest and recuperation,and it was also a period of gradual restoration,which provided a powerful guarantee for the development of painting.The third part mainly analyzes and appreciates Liang Kai's freehand figure paintings through image analysis.He innovated the composition of the freehand figure paintings.His brushstrokes were smooth and his figures were simple.Therefore,he has created new strokes and ink paintings.The fourth part uses statistical analysis methods to understand the changes in Liang Kai's freehand figure paintings.His works are equivalent to a breakthrough in the paradigm of the hospital,to the small,simple development,more still.The fifth chapter analyzes Liang Kai's freehand figure paintings influenced by his nature,literary paintings and Zen.As a result,his painting style is changed from a neat and meticulous painting style to a freehandbrushwork style.Chapter 6 studies the paintings of Liang Kai's and the paintings of Xu Wei and Ke Weng by means of case analysis.The conclusion was that their paintings were all influenced by Liang Kai's paintings.From the above studies,we can see that there is currently no information on Liang Kai.We need to create a comprehensive and multi-angle study of Liang Kai's monograph,so that we can further study Liang Kai and his paintings.During the Southern Song Dynasty,the importance attached to the construction of the Academy of Fine Arts was also extensively absorbed into the Academy of Fine Arts.During that period,the painting was created for the emperor.Therefore,the works of that period were mainly depicting the scenes of leisure and entertainment,in order to highlight the prosperity of Taiping during the Southern Song Dynasty.At the same time,Liang Kai's freehand figure paintings have broken the previous method of “delineating and then filling”.He used“plane”as a unique painting language in the creation of freehand figure paintings.Such expressions place more emphasis on the artist's inner world and heart appeal.Liang Kai's painting style was also changed from a neat and meticulous painting style to a freehand brushwork style.His later works put more emphasis on brushwork and the creation of artistic conception,formalizing the image of the character and making the picture more form-feeling.These have greatly enriched the expression techniques of freehand figure painting.Liang Kai's freehand character works have influenced China's later generations.Among them,the performance technique of flower and bird paintings is particularly far-reaching.At the same time,Liang Kai's works were also loved and imitated by Japanese painters,which promoted the development of Japanese freehand painting.Therefore,Liang Kai often conveys his own feelings through his own paintings.Therefore,we can regard the image of his painting as his own portrayal.His paintings not only attach great importance to the artistic conception of the painting,but also advocate the artist's heart appeal.Through studying the composition of paintings,themes,materials,inks,styles and thoughts of Liang Kai's freehand figure paintings,it is certain that his painting style has changed.On the one hand,this is both the requirement of Liang Kai's own development.On the other hand,this is the inevitable result of the development of the times.Therefore,it is necessary to correctly recognizeand understand the development of Liang Kai's freehand figure painting,and need to correctly comment on Liang Kai's freehand figure painting.
