Bai XianYong is one of the most influential writer in Taiwan literary field in modern China.The long novel Crystal Boys he created in 1970s is a work that describes the living circumstance of Chinese male homosexual group with the longest length and has high art level among novels of relevant topics.The story states that the young male homosexuals Li Qing,Xiao Yu,Mouse and Wu Min who always wandered in Taibei Central Park found their self identities and personal experience of seeking for family and fathers in their living social space,family space and group inner space.From the view of humanism,and combining the gender cultural background of Taiwan in China in the middle and post 20~thh century,the writer disclosed the irrationality of heterosexual centralism and the internal limitation of male homosexual group when he stated the legendary life of those crystal boys.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction part organizes the figure image of marginal men Bai Xianyong created in the view of knowledge pedigree,the relation of Taiwan literature and Chinese literature,the research methods of this paper uses and the current domestic research situation of Crystal Boys.The text part of this paper takes the gender view as a macro view and stating mainline of researching the identity problem of male homosexuals in the work,to research their pressure in different space and human limitation of internal group from three parallel scopes of society,family and group.The conclusion part is based on concluding that homosexuals have no family and nation,to point out the ineffective ending that male homosexuals find their self-identity,and further think about the reason why the homosexual topic is so popular in Chinese literary creation and the repetitiveness phenomenon of story ending.
