A Study On Linxu's Poetry In Historical Changes

Lin xu is one of the famous"the reform 6 gentlemen"in history,at the same time he was a poet of the“tongguang"genre.His life was short,but he left us with a valuable poem.Owing to the scattered and lost,the poems that can be read so far are closer to 200.Although the number is small,its poetry value is not to be underestimated.This paper is mainly based on Lin xu's process of writing poetry,combining historical data with analysis and mutual evidence method to explore the historical trace of Lin xu's life course and investigate the relationship between he and the poets of"tongguang".From the perspective of poetry theme?style and artistic characteristics to highlight his position in the poerty genre.The first chapter is based on Lin xu's "Zude poetry" to analyze and introduce Lin Xu's youth development process.The influence of his grandfather's will was significant.Not only does it have an effect on the formation of his character,but also on the transformation of his life trajectory.This family heritage was consistent with the culture of Fujian at that time.Shen Yuqing chose Lin Xu as his daught's husband.Lin Xu has since become acquainted with Fujian celebrities in the late Qing Dynasty,such as Zheng Xiaotong,Chen Shu,and Chen Yan and so on.Lin xu formed a close relationship with them and he was deeply influenced by their attitude and skills in composing poems.By analyzing the relationship between them,the cultural coordinates of him are clearly defined.The second chapter will from the longitudinal analysis of Lin xu's poems to analyzes the different themes and characteristics of his poems in various stages to show the development of Lin xu's thought.Lin Xu's early thoughts did not escape the feudal barriers and devoted himself to the Imperial Examination.After the first sino-japanese war,his poems style of writing was gradually changing.He saw the difficulties of the people's livelihood and felt the weakness of the court,as a scholar,he can only casted the emotions of unintelligence,and the trepidation that worry about the country and the people into poetry.The imminent change of the atmosphere of the times and the admonitions of his friends led him to change his mind,from a poet who was devoted to poetry to a reformer.In his poems,he often used his voice to excite more people.The change of his poetic style also reflects the development of his thoughts,from enthusiasm for the official use of the imperial examination to actively supporting the reform of the reforms to patriotism.The series of changes made his poetry not only mature,but also gradually participated in social activities and finally became a key figure in the big event.Although his poetry during the 1898 period gradually matured,his style of poetry was in conflict with his agitation of social activities.This contradiction is in fact caused by the incompleteness of his transformation from a traditional literati to a reformed person.Through the analysis of his poetry and the mutual evidence of historical activities,we can clarifies his thoughts and the relationship with the Kang-party and Tongguang-style poets to find out the causes.The third chapter discusses how linxu is unique in Tong Guang school of poetry from the artistic characteristics of Lin Xu's poetry to his personality.The Song Poetry School strives to break previous achievements in poetry with the standard of "uncommon".Lin Xu is proficient in the style of song poetry but not specializing in the song,thence formed his own style.At the same time,he paied attention to the origins of his words.His language is sometimes difficult to understand,but sometimes colloquail.This style of poetry makes him unique in the style of poetry.Secondly,the Song Poetry School requires poets to have a personality culture that is as good as the humanities.Tongguang poets inherited and carried forward this requirement,that is,people are good,poetry is good.Lin Xu expressed his unique pursuit of independence from the poetry.At the same time,he also proved this with his own practical actions in historical activities.In particular,his martyrdom made his life reach a height that ordinary people could not reach,and attracted many poets to mourn and praise him.
