Jorge Louise Borges,a world-famous writer and critic,has had a great influence on Latin American literature and even the literary world.In his long career,Borges has created a lot of poems,essays and novels,and many of his literary ideas have attracted the attention of researchers.Especially his view of the reader,has the very obvious idealized characteristic.His thoughts on the relationship between the author and the text-readers have brought great inspiration to modern literary theory.Through a careful study of Borges ' writings,biographies,conversations and related literary theories,this paper aims to analyze the unique concept of readers of Borges.The main body of the thesis is divided into three parts,the first part mainly elaborates the orientation of Borges to the reader's identity,which involves the reader's ontological position in the literary activity,the interaction between the reader and the author,and the content of Borges ' setting for the ideal reader;the second part,by analyzing the related To investigate the concrete practice of Borges 'view of readers in his creation;the third part focuses on the cause of the idealized reader view of Borges,which is closely related to his ideas of religion,philosophy and literature.He absorbed the heterogeneous ideas from different countries and regions,and eventually merged into his own personal view of the reader.
