The Male And Female Images Of Zhang Ling's Novels That Studied From The Standpoint Of Feminism

Zhang Ling is a famous writer of Chinese literature in North America.She has been writting many excellent novels with her extraordinary literary talent and abundant energy.She has won the love and admiration from all circles of literature at home and abroad.As a writer full of humanistic care,"mankind" has always been the object of attention and writing of Zhang Ling.She has created numerous and vivid characters in her novels.By creating unique male and female images,she conveys her unique understanding of human life and relationships.From the perspective of feminism,this paper will focus on the characters of Zhang Ling's novels and study the male and female images of her novels that are closely related to her unique life experience and reflect her unique female consciousness and the profound meanings behind these images.This thesis suggests that Zhang Ling creats masculine but powerless males and gentle but powerful females on the basis of accepting gender differences.Through the analysis of these literary characters,it can be seen that Zhang Ling's novels can deconstruct the patriarchy-centered culture,and reveal the female subjectivity and female consciousness.It shows that Zhang Ling is exploring the state of human life,complex human nature and harmonious relationship between male and female through her novels.
