| In China,people’s worship of tigers has been revealed in the ancient totem art.In the lives of ordinary people,the worship of tigers has become more apparent.The ordinary people have made tiger patterns into various fabric products which have the symbol of bringing good fortune and avoiding disasters.As a symbol of evil spirits,folk fabric art tiger products have unique artistic shapes,diverse artistic forms,and full symbolic meanings,which have so far become a unique form of art and an important part of Chinese folk art.This article takes the folk fabric tiger-shaped products as the background.First of all,the paper starts from the symbolism of the tiger-shaped pattern to introduce the symbol of the folk fabric tiger-shaped pattern,besides,it studies and analyzes the expression form of the fabric tiger-shaped pattern,the ornamentation,color choice and the application area of patterns.At last,after further study of the folk fabric tiger-shaped products,the traditional design elements are extracted from the fabric to provide support for the innovative design of the tiger-shaped pattern in the fabric.The innovative design of the tiger-shaped pattern in the fabric adopts a two-dimensional expression form,which changes the shape of the traditional fabric tiger-shaped products into a variety of beautiful decorative designs with good meanings.The traditional and modern colors are used interchangeably to make these elements arrange by format according to the modern aesthetic requirements and accurate depict innovative tiger-shaped patterns through the method of combination of modern digital media technology and freehand sketching.The design is characterized by combining the traditional elements of the folk fabric tiger pattern with the design elements of the modern decorative pattern,and designing a fabric-shaped decorative pattern that not only contains the traditional folk culture but also meets the aesthetic requirements of modern society.In the era of rapid development of new design,how traditional folk art can be inherited and developed is a very important issue.To ensure that the culture of folk fabric tiger-shaped products is not forgotten,we must let folk arts keep pace with the development of the times.It is particularly important to design a fabric tiger pattern that not only retains traditional elements but also conforms to modern aesthetics. |
