Chu culture not only has a long history as well as exquisite works of art. From themystery books of Chu to the painting fantasy, from fine silk and beautiful myth, from theunprecedented grand for sacrifice to the produce highly skilled Chu bronze, from the wisdomof the people of the state of Chu handed down numerous exquisite artifacts, all of them aretelling us that Chu dynasty has a very profound political and cultural background. No matterwhat kind of arts contain the traditional romance and the most primitive vitality. Theimportant part of the graphic patterns decorative patterns of Chu culture, widely reflects theway the aesthetic design concepts and design ideas of Chu ’s. At that time, the developmentof social, political, culture, innovation had led Chu culture a new change in the patterns ofChu. In this paper, in the basis of graphic pattern style of Chu tiger, to know the political,cultural, and productivity levels Chu peoples social had experienced at the time as well as tostudy the value of the artistic and the cultural deeply and to explore the significance of themodern culture revelation Chu graphic design and. In this paper, on the basis for the studyof Chu Tiger’s patterns, it reveals the aesthetic and spiritual meaning of animal patterns characteristic of the tiger patterns. It focuses the art features of the tiger style’s decoration. It is to know the political, cultural, national productivity levels and to study the culture value of the arton the social’s cultural background of those times. Meanwhile it is to explore the applicationsand influences of the modern decoration which have done by Chu Tiger Style culture. We need to figure out how to use a wider range of traditional patterns of artistic expression combining contemporary art and design, so as to enhance the value of art and Chu culture in today’s society and culture, and to improve its practical significance.
