| English,as an effective way of communicating among people,is of very common use all over the world.The effective way of learning English is to try to use it in our daily life.English textbook drama teaching is an effective method which can promote students to talk together,cooperate with each other,improve English learning efficiently,and enable them to fully perform what they have learnt in the text book.How to use English textbook drama teaching to improve the students’ learning effect?This is a question that all of the English teachers should think and explore in their teaching life.This paper,based on previous studies on English textbook drama teaching theory,takes Z city X primary school as an example,combines with the author’s teaching experience in primary school,analyzes the effective way of textbook drama teaching in primary school English class.For the first part of this thesis,it combines the requirements of the New English Curriculum Standard and the English teaching goal,proposes relevant research background,emphasizes the importance and necessity of textbook drama teaching in primary school and expounds the content and significance of the research.This paper uses three research methods,which are as follows:Literature Research Method,Questionnaire Research Method and Interview Research Method.It presents the core concepts and literature review,analyzes the current English textbook drama teaching situation both at home and abroad,and puts forward some relevant research theories,which lay a solid foundation for this thesis.For the second part of this paper,in order to promote the English textbook drama teaching effect and polish up the bad situation of the textbook drama teaching in primary school,this paper takes X primary school in Z city as an example to analyze some teaching cases,so as to conduct a research on the English drama teaching,and then through the survey found that the English textbook drama in primary school mainly has the following several problems:ignoring the application value of English textbook drama teaching method,relying on the traditional teaching aims,too limited to the textbook material,not paying attention to the cultivation of English textbook drama teaching skills,focusing on a minority of students,ignoring the majority of them etc.In order to make a thorough research of the causes of the problems mentioned above,this paper studies from two aspects which contain the teachers and the educational system.On the basis of the analysis of the problems and causes,some suggestions are raised for improvement of the teachers,schools and parents at three levels.This paper aims to find out the problems,analyzes the problems and solves the problems which exit in English textbook drama teaching by analyzing the cases,in the hope of providing some useful reference value for the research,as well as providing some help for the author’s textbook drama teaching,so as to improve the teachers’teaching efficiency and the students’ learning effect.In this case,the English textbook drama teaching can play an important role for primary school students. |
