Although the study of dialect pronouns started later,it has developed rapidly and the elegant results have been abundant. However, only a special study on pronouns in Sheqi(??)dialect has not yet been seen. Therefore, this paper used the proverbs of the Sheqi dialect as its research object, the comparison of "dialect-mandarin-the ancient" as its research strategy to make full description and key display of Sheqi dialect pronoun system.Simultaneously, with a large number of real and natural dialect conversations,we extended the perspective from the syntactic level to the discourse level to explore the referential rules and cohesive functions of Sheqi dialect in spoken discourse detailedly. The thesis is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introduction.Firstly,we introduced the Sheqi dialect and its research overview. Then we combined the research results and content of Chinese pronouns from two perspectives:Mandarin and dialect. Finally,we pointed out the research significance, research objects and methods of this paper and explained the corpus source and article style. The second chapter is the study of personal pronouns in Sheqi dialect.First we introduced the form and type of personal pronouns.Secondly,we described the semantic, syntactic and pragmatic functions of three personal pronouns and non-three personal pronouns. If necessary,we would compare with modern words in Mandarin and other dialects. Finally, three special usages of personal pronouns were introduced:exchange, general and virtual references. And the study of characteristic dialect pronouns included the contradistinctions of "I(?)/[?an55](?)","?[ni?42]" and "others(??)/he(?)".The third chapter is the study of demonstrative pronouns in Sheqi dialect.Firstly,we introduced the form and type of demonstrative pronouns.Secondly, focusing on the internal differentiation of similar pronouns,we described different types of referential meaning compared with Mandarin. We also contacted the ancient Chinese language to explore the etymology when necessary. Finally,we pointed out the extension of"this(?)/that(?)" from the space category to time and psychology categories in indicator domain and other non-referential usages such as definite articles extended by indication function. The fourth chapter is the study of demonstrative pronouns in Sheqi dialect.First we introduced the form and type of interrogative pronouns.Secondly, the interrogative pronoun system was divided into six categories which were descriped based on different questioning objects according to the divergences of basic forms. Finally, four non-doubt usages of interrogative pronouns were summarized. The fifth chapter is the study of the textual function of pronouns in Sheqi dialect Through self-built dialect texts,we made comparisons of the pronouns "he(?)/?[ni?42]"and "this(?)/tat(?)" First of all,we classified the indicated categories of these pronouns. Then we analyzed the syntactic tendency of "he(?)/?[ni?42]" when referring through word frequency statistics. We also measured its anaphora distance(continuity)and summarized the constraints of antecedent's anaphora. Then we statisticed the frequency distribution of the two types of anaphora, summed up its expression of the semantic relations of textual sentences when there were anaphora events and analyzed the function of "that(?)" chapter conjunctions. Finally, during the research process,we also compared referential continuity of "he(?)" and asymmetry of "this(?)/that(?)"with Mandarin and explained the causes of differences in "dialect-mandarin" using the theory of availability. The sixth chapter is the conclusion. From the syntactic level and textual level,we summed up the research contents and conclusions of pronouns in Sheqi dialect and pointed out deficiencies in the paper.
