Study On Effect Of Group Counseling On Drug Rehabilitation Motivation Among Compulsory Isolating Female Synthetic Drug Addicts

Based on the project "study on the motivation of drug addiction rehabilitation for drug addicts of synthetic drug " from Ministry of Justice,the baseline level and characteristics of the motivation of drug addiction rehabilitation was established through the assessment of the status of the motivation of drug rehabilitation,an operable and standardized group guidance intervention program was developed,and effects of group guidance for drug addicts was discussed.This study is divided into two parts:Study one is the study of drug addicts from 3 compulsory rehabilitation centers in Hubei province.The self-made questionnaire survey was conducted.A total of 880 questionnaires were issued,798 valid questionnaires were collected,and the data were statistically analyzed to explore the baseline level and characteristics of the drug rehabilitation motivation.Based on the study one,study two selected 24 female drug addicts with low scores on rehabilitation motivation,and the front and back tests were adopted.Group psychological intervention was conducted for the 12 women in the study group to improve the motivation of drug rehabilitation,including role playing,self speaking,homework and other group counseling activities,was carried out.12 drug addicts in the control group did not carry out group psychological intervention,and other physical education activities were conducted normally.The results of this study are as follows:(1)The rehabilitation motivation of drug addicts in compulsory rehabilitation centers in Hubei is generally high.And there was a higher level of regret,cognition adjustment and external help thrust,but the dimension of the sense of confidence was lower.Female drug addicts' confidence in their ability to quit drugs is significantly higher than that of male drug addicts.The total level of the drug abstinence motivation and the overall level of cognitive adjustment and belief dimension of the drug addicts with children was significantly higher than that of the non-child addicts.The dimensions of cognition adjustment and confidence were significantly higher in the addicts who entered the center moere than one time.(2)Through the analysis of the test data before and after group counseling,it was found that there was no significant difference(p>0.05)between the pre and post test scores of the control group,that is,the level of the motivation of the drug rehabilitation was not changed without group intervention.The difference of the study group before and after the test was significant,that is,after the group psychological counseling,the motivation of drug rehabilitation was significantly improved(p<0.001).The difference of score between the study group and the control group was compared.The independent sample test found that there was significant difference between the study group and the control group(p<0.05),that is,the level of the drug rehabilitation motivation in the study group was significantly improved.In conclusion,the intervention program can better intervene the rehabilitation motivation of female drug addicts in compulsory isolation.
