Relationship Among Parental Control,Moral Disengagement And Children Online Deviant Behavior Of Primary School Students

This present study aims to make Children Online Deviant Behavior Scale and explore the relationship among parental control,moral disengagement,and children online deviant behavior of primary school students in Hubei province.Based on the questionnaires collected,descriptive statistical analysis,t-test,one-factor ANOVA,correlation analysis,EFA and CFA,reliability analysis,item analysis,mediation effect test,moderation effect test and so on are conducted.The results show as followings.(1)The self-made Children Online Deviant Behavior Scale(CODBS)has 3 dimensions,i.e:online cheating,violating using rule and flaming&making rumors online.Also the reliability and validity of the self-made Children Online Deviant Behavior Scale(CODBS)is acceptable,it can be used as future scientific researches.(2)Descriptive analysis indicates that the take back care dimension,euphemism label dimension,disinformation and attack dimension exist significant gender difference;Responsibility transfer dimension exist significant grade difference.Correlation shows that parental control,moral disengagement,and children online deviant behavior are positively correlated with each other.(3)Mediation structural equation shows that parental control has a significantly indirect effect on children online deviant behavior through moral disengagement,that is,moral disengagement partially mediates the relation between parental control and children online deviant behavior of primary school students,its ratio is 30.8%.(4)Moderation structural equation shows that moral disengagement moderates the relation between parental control and children online deviant behavior of primary school students,that is,there is a significant positive relation between parental control and children online deviant behavior under the high moral disengagement level,however,there is a non-significant relation between parental control and children online deviant behavior under the low moral disengagement level.Based on the above empirical research,suggestions are made to provide on the problems and deficiencies in the children online deviant behavior for primary school students,so as to avoid online deviant behavior.
