The Influence Of Gang Culture On Organized Crime In China After 1980s

There is an inseparable link between gang culture and organized crime,which is the spiritual foundation of organized crime.The gang culture includes the gang development methods,operating methods,codes of conduct,class relations,values and so on.In a word,organized crime is alternative gang.Therefore,the gang culture is deeply rooted in organized crime,and it impacts on organized crime every aspect.In order to investigate organized crime exactly,we can research the gang culture,which will benefits for us to make methods to control organized crime.This article has four paragraphs.The first paragraph is the introduction part,which describes the meaning of organized crime,reasons and current situation of research,The second chapter describes several basic forms of organized crime.On the basis of time,organized crime is divided into three phases and analyzed one by one.The third chapter describes the background and the source of ideology about gang culture in organized crime.Firstly in this chapter it points the reason that gang culture arise again after 1980s,which is social structural imbalances with social transformation.Secondly it explains in detail the source of ideology about gang culture.Chapter 4 describes the influence of gang culture on organized crime.The influence of gang culture is analyzed from strict order,cliques,looking for interests,code of the brotherhood,violence and brutality.In the study of this chapter,it can be clearly concluded that the gang culture has a profound impact on organized crime.
