Research On The Inscriptions On Regular Script In Tang Dynasty(The Early Tang Dynasty To The Dali Period)

Chinese characters are the main carrier of Chinese culture and they are also the culmination of Chinese culture.From the Oracle Shang Dynasty to the Jin and Tang dynasty books,the Chinese characters evolved from the “drawing,transforming,and chanting” pictographs into the line-style ideograms of “horizontal,vertical,meandering,point,meander,fold,and hook”.A qualitative leap.The regular script has been further developed on the basis of the official script and has gradually become stereotypical in the Tang Dynasty.The Tang Dynasty was a period of prosperous economy and culture.The development of its inscriptions also reached its peak during this period.The monuments are mostly scripted and are very good text research materials.Study the Tang Dynasty stele inscriptions,explore the evolution of Chinese characters and the awareness of standardization of Chinese characters at that time,and summarize the textual phenomenon in the stele material,which will contribute to the study of the development history of Chinese characters.According to the social status as the main criterion,288 blocks of inscriptions from the beginning of the Tang Dynasty to the middle of the calendar period(618-779)were divided into three levels: upper,middle,and lower levels of culture.Through quantification and comparison analysis,the upper and lower levels of textual standards were compared.The middle level is relatively high,the upper level is higher than the lower level,and the middle level is lower than the lower level.The standard of Chinese characters is equivalent to the imperial decree of the imperial court.According to the principle,the use of canonical characters is used throughout the country,but sometimes it varies from person to person.Different cultures use different characters.Combining the words in the book “Qianluozi” at that time,the layered consciousness of the word norm has been formed.From an overall point of view,the Tang Dynasty's standardization of words has surpassed the previous generation,but there are still many problems,mainly manifested in the degree of regulation.It did not reach the strict and uniform requirements,as the same components of the component words can have different writing methods.When analyzing the reasons for the variety of characters,we often analyze and summarize the textual phenomena reflected in the materials.It is easy to ignore the people's attitudes to the use of Chinese characters at the time.Therefore,we must analyze the textual phenomena of materials as well as the textual phenomena.Explore the Chinese people's sense of standardization of Chinese characters at that time.In this period,the 17 new Wu Zhou characters appearing on the inscription showed that the second “yue(?)” character of Wu Zhou's new character may be changed in 698 through the discussion of the time and shape of Wu Zetian's changing the character;Wu Zhouxin The word “jun(?)”is not necessarily used only for respecting the emperor.In addition,it also explored the nine capitals that appeared in this period and were written in capitals.It is doubtful that the phrase “capital age is a new creation of Wu Zetian” is doubtful.From the material point of view,capital numbers appear in Gaozong,not only for chronology,but also for the use of numerals.
