Application Of "Chinese Character Graphics" In Guide Design

As a medium for information transmission,Chinese characters,the only hieroglyphs that have been handed down,have preserved rich features of graphic elements;and with their unique visual form in basic form,mode of communication,cultural characteristics,etc.,they have provided a practical basis and aesthetic background for modern design.In modern design,graphic design of Chinese characters is not just plane information transmission,and the expression forms of multiple spaces,including three-dimension and even four-dimension bring new ideas to graphic design of Chinese characters.The Application of “Chinese Character Graphics” in Guide Design is to implement three-dimensional form change based on the basic frame structure of Chinese characters,and to organize and integrate the spatial elements;as a symbol for information transmission,it's not just the ability to deliver information,but also an important means to create a space environment.It is one of the important media for people to communicate with space.Using different Chinese font structures and expression forms,it generates tempo and rhythm between Chinese characters and graphics,between Chinese characters and space,and thus create unique guide designs coordinated with the spatial environment,which have resulted in unique visual effects.By analyzing the history and present situation of Chinese character graphic design,this paper summarizes the creative methods of Chinese character graphic design.Taking the space form as the design environment,and using abstract thinking,it conducts the change and extension of the three-dimensional spatial structure of “Chinese Character Graphics”in design practice,and applies the spatial structure of Chinesecharacter graphic design to guide design.This paper hopes that the graphic and visual design of Chinese characters can be combined in space,material and structure,the information can be transmitted more directly with the expression of three-dimensional space,the audience can be effectively guided to identify information quickly,and meanwhile,when information transmission effect is strengthened,the user's sense of identity to the connotation of space culture can be improved,humanized design effect of guide design can be reflected and new ideas for graphic design of Chinese characters can be offered at the same time.
