The Study On The Structure Of "Zhi" Characters In Oracle Bone Inscription

In recent years,the study on a certain radical of SHUO WEN(????)has been a focus in philology.However,there is a lack of systematic structural analysis from this point of view for characters in earlier text materials.Oracle-bone Inscription is the earliest written system that has been found in China.It would be of more significance to analyze the structure of a character through Oracle-bone Inscription.The "Zhi(?)" character is an important part of Oracle-bone Inscription.Before a lot of scholars on the Oracle"Zhi(?)"character of textual researches and collations,which provide valuable materials and experiences for our research.But few people make thorough and systematic study of the structure of "Zhi(?)"character.This article is intended to make a comprehensive and systematic study of the "Zhi(?)"character in Oracle-Bone Inscription from the point of view of Chinese Characters Structure in order to find out its characteristics.This article takes the 279"Zhi(?)"character words in the Collection of Research on Bone Shell Inscriptions and other books as the research objects,and conduct quantitative and qualitative research on them.The content of this dissertation includes the following parts:The first part is an introduction that introduce the relevant study of"Zhi(?)"character,as well as significance and objective of this article.The second part is a summary of the "Zhi(?)"character words in Oracle-bone Inscriptions which includes three sections.The first section is related to concepts of the structure of Chinese characters.The second section is the classification of"Zhi(?)"According to the composition and object of "Zhi(?)",which is divided into single"Zhi(?)"component,self—organized "Zhi(?)"component and"Zhi(?)"component organized with other components.The third section is the direction,quantity and relative position of "Zhi(?)"character.And it analyze three aspects how to effect the structure of "Zhi(?)"character.The third part is the structure function of Oracle-bone Inscription.This chapter takes 139 acquainted"Zhi(?)"characters as the study objects,summed up the"Zhi(?)"character has hieroglyphic,phonograms and semantic function.The first section is the hieroglyphic function of "Zhi(?)"character,which can be summed up as the toe of man,the feet of man,the feet of the animal and the bottom of the thing.The second section is the phonograms function of "Zhi(?)"character.The third section is the semantic function of "Zhi(?)"character,which can be summarized as:the movement on the plane,the movement in space,the meaning of vibration and the meaning of objects.The fourth part is examples for the structure function of "Zhi(?)"character.This chapter is mainly explained in detail according to the structure function of"Zhi(?)"character in the second chapter.The first section is examples for the hieroglyphic function of "Zhi(?)"character.The second section is examples for the phonograms function of "Zhi(?)"character.The third section is examples for the semantic function of "Zhi(?)"character.The fifth part is a conclusion.It mainly summarizes the functions of"Zhi(?)"character and the characteristics they have when they undertake different functions.
