| The Shou(手)symbol is one of the most important components in the structure of Oracle-bone Inscription.The characters,consisted by Shou(手)symbol,have a large proportion in Oracle-bone.Senior scholars have made remarkable achievements in the Oracle-bone Shou(手)characters and the structure of ancient words.Based on the previous researches,this essay carries on a summative study in the Shou(手)characters.The essay mainly includes the following parts:The first chapter is the introduction.It mainly introduces the relevant research results,the research methods,and the significance of this paper.Chapter one mainly introduces the relevant concept of Oracle-bone Shou(手)characters,the structure and the component.Classifying the components into four categories from the point of structure.Meanwhile,counting the number of the Shou(手)characters,which is 843 totally,including 401 characters have known and 442 characters unknown.Chapter two is the functional analysis of the Oracle-bone Shou(手)characters.According to the theory of Chinese Construction proposed by Wang Ning,the function of the Shou(手)component is divided into three parts,representing the shape,representing the meaning,and prompting the pronunciation.The Shou(手)characters of each function are listed and some representative words are selected for analysis.Chapter three is about the explanation of the Oracle-bone Shou(手)characters.It analysis the three functions of the characters.And enumerating the relevant examples in Oracle-bone Inscription to understand the character more fully.The Shou(手)symbol and its components have a strong ability to construct words in Oracle-bone Inscription and have a variety of configuration functions.Through the study of the structure and the component of Shou(手)characters,we hope that we can learn the Oracle-bone Shou(手)characters more systematically and comprehensively. |
